Join Anne Perry, Victoria Zackheim, and Barbara Abercrombie for a day-long writing workshop at Los Angeles Valley College this Saturday, July 18th.
With a focus on our specific genres, the workshop is designed to “help you discover insights into your writing, renew your joy of it, and direct you toward compelling fiction and nonfiction.”
Barbara Abercrombie has published novels, children’s books, and non-fiction. Her personal essays have appeared in national publications and anthologies. Recent books are Courage & Craft: Writing Your Life Into Story, Cherished: 21 Writers on Animals They’ve Loved & Lost and A Year of Writing Dangerously, a Poets & Writers Magazine choice as a top book for writers, and Kicking In The Wall.
Anne Perry is a New York Times and international bestselling author noted for her memorable characters and exploration of social and ethical issues. Two of her series—one featuring Thomas Pitt, one featuring William Monk—have been published worldwide.
Victoria Zackheim is the author of the novel, The Bone Weaver, and editor of six anthologies, including The Other Woman, The Face in the Mirror, Exit Laughing: How Humor Takes the Sting Out of Death, and her most recent, Faith: Essays From Believers, Agnostics, and Atheists. Her screenplay, Maidstone, a feature film, is in development, as are her theater plays The Other Woman and Entangled.
