Tuesday Lunch: A film about friendship, the women’s movement and a family of choice

Tuesday Lunch is a beautiful documentary film, written, directed, and produced by Women At Woodstock alum Diane Stark. The film centers on the group of women who formed Diane’s mother’s core group of friends and who have been meeting on Tuesdays since 1969. It traces over four decades of friendship through the best and most difficult of times, and is a testament to the importance of friendships with women. Those who attended Women At Woodstock 2013, both east and west, had the pleasure of viewing the trailer for Tuesday Lunch during the opening evening’s events. It was the perfect beginning for our time together.

Tuesday Lunch is now a finalist for a Roy W. Dean Film Grant, which are awarded to unique films that contribute to society.
