When life gets hectic, it’s easy to put our own needs last. And if we have not established strong self-care practices, it will be difficult to contribute or function at our best. Real self-care enhances both our personal and professional performances and promotes good life practices by improving our energy, sharpening our mental acuity, strengthening our self- awareness, and positively impacting our relationships. Sometimes the most unselfish thing you can do is to focus on your self- care.
Here are the elements and undertakings we’ll tackle in our workshop:
- Define real self-care—Myths, Truth, Benefits.
- Assess current self- care needs and practices.
- Recognize why self-reflection and awareness are vital skills for learning how to respond to our needs, develop our potential, understand the impact we have on others, and identify how we can make a difference.
- Experience techniques and learn skills to generate life balance and to strengthen productive communication, collaborations, and connections.
We’re really pleased that our popular past-presenter, Andie Peck, will be leading this first workshop to set the tone for our retreat on our very first day. Andie is a master at setting up your mind for a new way of thinking, and laying out steps and thought patterns to change your life for the better.
