Janet Neal is a tireless advocate for women’s empowerment, having been an early influencer in the area of work/life balance in the 1990’s. She opened a co-working center for women in 2007, before there was such a term and certainly not a place just for women. She has written numerous articles and two books on the topic, been on nationally syndicated radio shows and podcasts talking about it and has been a speaker at Working Mother Magazine’s Work Life Congress.
Besides her teaching career, Janet’s done public speaking for way too many years to count. She’s done workshops for Microsoft, IBM, California Department of the Interior, New Jersey Courts, Barclays Bank and Women at Woodstock!
We’re thrilled that Janet will be joining us again this year for Women At Woodstock, and that she’ll be leading a Flash Workshop, “So Let’s Talk About My Hair.”
