It’s not often in life enough in life that you become aware of your gifts and get to utilize them in the work you do in order to assist others. Janet Neal is one of those persons who gratefully fits that bill. Gifted with the ability to teach, the ability to listen, the ability to write, the ability to do public speaking, intelligence, and a sense of humor, Janet has been able to parlay these in her careers in teaching, in corporations and as an entrepreneur.
In 2002, after a 19 year sales career at IBM, Janet followed her passion to address corporate work/life balance issues and founded Productivity Resource Group to provide coaching and training services to assist in alleviating them. In 2007 she founded The Professional Women’s Center, addressing the desire on the part of women to connect and having no facility designed to allow it. She worked with The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership to help entrepreneurs reach their next level, and was the New Business Development Manager at Above & Beyond, a shared office and virtual staffing center for small business owners.
Janet is a frequent lecturer and workshop provider for organizations such as IBM, Microsoft, Kraft Foods, and Working Mother Magazine. She is the author of Soul in Control: Reflections of a Reformed Superwoman (Balboa Press, 2012). She is a contributor to The Huffington Post and numerous business publications as well as the Sirius Radio show, Writing from the Heart. Ms. Neal is a certified coach, author, speaker and mother of 3 future entrepreneurs. You will meet her on the panel of the Take Action & Make It Happen Workshop at Women At Woodstock West.
You’ll want to prepare for this workshop by reading Janet’s book ahead of time:
