Virtual Writer’s Retreat
Choose the Writer’s Colony or the Story Cottage
October 13-16, 2021
At the Women At Woodstock Writers Retreat, we welcome women bloggers, memoirists, fiction writers, poets, and nonfiction writers of all levels and any age. Our content-rich retreat offers two tracks: Track 1 – The Writers Colony, and Track 2 – The Story Cottage.
You have your choice of either track at the retreat – it’s up to you which you choose.
Virtual Over-50 Retreat
October 19-20, 2021
We’ll start with a Virtual Evening Wine Hour on Wednesday, October 19 to reconnect, meet new friends, and talk a little about the workshops and mastermind session that will be happening the next day. Then on Thursday the 20th, we’ll get to work in the morning with two different workshops, followed by a longer session in the afternoon – our signature and sometimes life-altering Mastermind Session, in which each participant is given the floor to discuss her issue, need, desire, problem, or idea, and the collective experience and wisdom of the group will be brought into focus to provide suggestions for solutions, offers of expertise, creative feedback, and whatever else will be useful.

The Over-50 Retreat
May 25-29, 2022
A workshop, discussion, and time-of-reflection retreat for women over 50 (or so). And we’re not too strict about the age requirement; we’ve had attendees in their mid-thirties and forties who’ve attended many years in a row! The binding factor is a shared interest in self-understanding, creativity, project development, relationships, communication, style of living, and more. Our eclectic mix of workshops, evening discussion salons, virtual shared activities, gifts, and thought-provoking challenges online and offline make our gathering different from any virtual “conference” you’ve attended before. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious, political, sexual, educational, or career status.
The Writers Retreat
May 29-June 2, 2022
A writing retreat for women of any age and any level. We welcome women bloggers, memoirists, fiction writers, poets, and nonfiction writers, who may enroll in one of two tracks: The Writers Colony, or The Story Cottage.
The Writers Colony
Daily workshops taught by author and writing coach Ginnah Howard, and a one-on-one session Ginnah will schedule with you to review and critique your work and provide individual coaching regarding the process of getting published. (You’ll submit a 20-page manuscript (which can be anything you’re working on) prior to the retreat for Ginnah’s review.
The Story Cottage
includes daily workshops taught by author and writing coach Colleen Geraghty, where you’ll write and practice your developing skills with prompts, discussions, and short writing sessions. Every evening all of the writers share their work in a reading salon.
